Highlights from the past 20 years:

New Life Treatment Centers (NLTC) was founded by Steve Arterburn in 1988.

In 1991 NLTC acquired the Fred Gross Christian Therapy Program which had an inpatient hospital program in Buena Park, CA. NLTC later opened other FGCTP inpatient and day treatment programs in Van Nuys, Orange, CA, Washington DC and Chicago, IL.

NLTC acquired the Minirth Meier Clinics in 1994.

NLTC acquired Remuda Ranch in 1994.

In 1996 NLTC officially completed the Minirth Meier Clinics-West acquisition.
- Women Of Faith began in early 1996 with over 30,000 attendees in its first year and over 300,000 women a year after it’s third year.

NLM became a non-profit in 1998.

1999 New Life Ministries became the official name.

In 1999, NLM acquired the Calvary Center.

The New Life Network of counselors started in 2000 and has grown to over 840 counselors today.
- 2007 begins a partnership with the Recovery Place and celebrates the opening of the New Life’s Recovery Place, a chemical dependency treatment facility in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
